The Tower, from Kinzie
There’s a really cool bridge on Kinzie Street in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. Looking south from this spot has always been one of my favorite views in the city. For this piece, I wanted to make something that stylized the strong beautiful iron structures of downtown Chicago, with a depth-of-field that leads the eye to the Sears Tower.
I do what I want:
Yes, the building is currently called “Willis Tower”, but it’ll always be “Sears Tower” to me.
