Mr. T
Originally, I created this caricature for fun, just as a doodle, simply because I’ve always been interested in drawing people. Caricatures are great because they’re an advanced way to focus on the personality and features of your subjects. Later on, I repurposed this same Mr. T sketch for a funny newsletter for our Alternative Rock radio station 101WKQX.
Original Sketch:
First, I began with a pencil sketch, then outlined all the necessary details with a black Sharpie.
Repurposed for 101WKQX:
I scanned the Sharpie illustration, and after several hours of working in Illustrator and Photoshop, this is the final result.
